OUR HOME AND NURSERY

Located on Smith Lake in Northwest Alabama, Glass House Puppies is dedicated to providing your future companions with a home where they can grow, learn and be truly adored while they are waiting to join your family. We promise to be transparent with our customers and want you to be totally comfortable with where your puppy is coming from. On this page of our website, we will describe and show you where and how our dogs live. While we may not have the most top notch and expensive facility, we are proud of what we are able to provide our puppies. I promise that they could not be more loved than they will be in our home with us.

Our Home
After Dean and I were married, we moved in to our beautiful home on Smith Lake. Smith Lake is a wonderful place to live. It's quiet and calm, with the water just feet from our back door. In the summers we can be found riding jet skis, boating and relaxing in the sun. Our dogs love it, too. With constant access to the biggest swimming hole they could ever want, we have learned to keep a couple of towels handy by the front door at all times. All of our dogs grew up in our home with us and our cat, Albert. They are house trained and crate trained. They get along great with other dogs and immediately love every single person they meet. We have a big yard where they are able to run and play and explore. Our dogs have the time of their lives here and that's just the way we like it.
Our Nursery
Located on our property is a large shed that Dean and I have been using as storage since we got married. When we made the decision to pursue dog breeding, we knew immediately that we could put that space to good use. We have completely remodeled this shed into our very own "Puppy Room". Inside our Nursery are two rooms and a grooming station. We are able to house up to three litters in our Nursery. Our dogs have heating and cooling, as well as running water. Our Nursery is fenced in on three sides. The fenced in area is made up of concrete and artificial grass. We have a doggy door so that our moms and dads can come and go as they please. We are very pleased with how this area has turned out and will continue to make changes and modifications to improve it over time.
